Develop Leadership Skills for Marketplace Ministry
At Boyce College, the Business Leadership minor equips future missionaries and ministry leaders with essential skills for leading organizations and managing teams. Designed for Global Studies students, this minor emphasizes how business and leadership skills can open doors for ministry in a global context, whether through formal business ventures or everyday marketplace engagement. Coursework in management, organizational behavior, and key business disciplines prepares students to lead with wisdom and serve with integrity. Students interested in using business as a platform for global mission should select the Global Studies major and add this minor to prepare for leadership wherever God calls them.

Frequently Asked Questions
Graduates will be prepared for ministry particularly focused in a global setting. Students who have graduated from this program have gone on to serve the International Mission Board and North American Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention. In addition, this program has equipped students with the skills necessary to effectively serve in a variety of international contexts.
Learning Outcomes
- Students will be able to demonstrate a knowledge of the Bible, interpret Scripture’s original meaning, and apply Scripture to contemporary situations.
- Students will be able to integrate systematic and historic theology into a larger biblical framework.
- Students will be able to understand the history and practice of Christian Missions in a North American and global context.
