Language Learning and Cultural Understanding for Global Gospel Ministry

At Boyce College, the Foreign Language and Cultural Acquisition minor prepares students to engage effectively in cross-cultural ministry through focused training in language acquisition and cultural understanding. Completed in partnership with the International Mission Board’s Hands On program, this minor offers real-world, on-field learning as students immerse themselves in language study while serving alongside ministry teams around the world. Designed to help future missionaries and ministry leaders communicate clearly and minister wisely in diverse cultural contexts, this minor should be paired with the Global Studies major for students preparing to serve in global gospel ministry.

Preparation to live and work inter-culturally in both national and international settings.
