Gospel Ministry Through Relief Work and Community Development
The Relief and Transformational Development minor at Boyce College prepares students to serve Christ through mercy ministries, humanitarian relief, and community development. Courses in business leadership, organizational management, and advanced relief strategies equip students to meet physical needs while advancing gospel-centered transformation. Designed for students called to serve in disaster response, poverty alleviation, and sustainable development work, this minor provides practical training within a biblical framework. To prepare for mission-focused relief ministry, students should select the Global Studies major and add this minor, gaining the tools to lead with compassion and share the hope of Christ through service around the world.Preparation to live and work inter-culturally in both national and international settings.

Graduates will be prepared for ministry particularly focused in a global setting. Students who have graduated from this program have gone on to serve the International Mission Board and North American Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention. In addition, this program has equipped students with the skills necessary to effectively serve in a variety of international contexts.
