Master of Divinity (M.Div.) or Master of Arts in Christian Education (MACE)

Master of Divinity (M.Div.)
Meaningful Ministry in the Classroom and the Church
Here is an economic reality: 60% of Southern Baptist pastors work a second job to make ends meet. Those pastors use their outside employment as a means to reach the lost and grow their churches.
The Teacher Education Seminary Track at Boyce College is designed with bi-vocational ministers in mind. As you train to serve Christ and his church, you are also preparing to teach students in the classroom. Combining both degrees at the beginning of a minister’s college experience saves thousands of dollars in tuition and reduces by two years the time typically required to earn both degrees.

Teacher as Servant Leader
The primary mission of the Boyce Teacher Education Program is to provide Christ-centered quality teacher education, preparing the next generation of educators to be servant-leaders in private and public schools and on the mission field.
The TEP is designed to equip the servant-leader with the range of knowledge necessary for the profession of teaching, with the skills of teaching as recognized in the education profession, and with the dispositions of a servant-leader in a world of diversity.
